Warranty Policy
Root Industries has been involved in the sport of freestyle scooters for 15 years and have the reputation for the highest quality products on the market.
In all extreme sports, like freestyle scootering, equipment suffers damage as a direct result of participation in the sport. Such damage to scooters is not covered under warranty.
Any warranty is void on items that show clear misuse or damage caused by or related to improper riding technique.
We will also not cover warranty claims on items that show excessive or obvious wear directly or indirectly related to the claim.
Water ingress/damage is not covered by warranty .
Any modification to a product will void the warranty for that individual part as well as any associated parts.
Due to the inherent nature of the sport we offer the following warranty terms on our products that cover direct manufacturing faults or failures. All terms start from the date of purchase.

Wheels - Up to 6 Months
Covered: Cracking or breakage of the core caused by direct manufacturing fault or defect. Complete dehubbing of the wheel caused by a failure or defect in the glue.
Exclusions: Damage caused by external forces including impact on the core and chipping, chunking or splitting of the urethane from landing. Any flat spots from breaking or damage to the urethane from rough surfaces. Bearings, spacers, finishes or decals are not covered under warranty after 14 days.
Decks - Up to 6 Months
Covered: Bending, cracking or breakage of the deck or headtube caused by manufacturing fault or defect.
Exclusions: Damage caused by external forces including impact to the deck, excessive or incorrect grinding, or other damage caused to the deck through riding. All hardware including brake, inserts, axles and spacers, along with finishes and decals are not covered under warranty after 14 days.
Bars - Up to 6 Months
Covered: Bending or breakage of the bar caused by manufacturing fault or defect.
Exclusions: Damage caused by external forces including impact to the bar. Finishes and decals are not covered under warranty after 14 days.
Forks - Up to 6 Months
Covered: Bending or breakage of the fork caused by manufacturing fault or defect.
Exclusions: Damage caused by external forces including impact to the fork. All hardware including axles, shims, internal threads and spacers, along with finishes and decals are are not covered under warranty after 14 days.
Clamps - Up to 6 Months
Covered: Cracking or breakage of the clamp caused by manufacturing fault or defect.
Exclusions: Damage caused by external forces including impact to the fork. All hardware including axles, shims, internal threads and spacers, along with finishes and decals are are not covered under warranty after 14 days.
Parts Excluded from Warranty
Grips, bar ends and griptape are considered consumable items not covered under warranty. All hardware including bearings, headsets, bolts, axles and brakes are not covered under warranty.
While the above parts are not covered under warranty terms, they do still have a standard statutory life expectancy of a minimum of 14 days. If any of the above products have an issue within 14 days of purchase we agree to replace them for your.
